About us
Maslina Home offers accommodation for the elderly who need appropriate care and nursing.
Maslina Home was opened in 2022.
We are located in beautiful Podstrana only 50 meters from the sea.
According to the needs of our users, we offer accommodation in single, double, triple rooms as well as in a stationary unit for accommodation of persons in need of intensive medical care.
Rooms are air conditioned and have a private bathroom, TV and SOS alarm system. Also, the home is equipped with an elevator.
The purpose of the home is to provide maximum care to the elderly in terms of care, nursing and social inclusion, through socializing in the large living room and dining room.

Our services
According to the needs of our users, we offer accommodation in single, double, triple rooms as well as in a stationary unit for accommodation of persons in need of intensive medical care.
Housing and food
We offer the following in terms of housing and

- 24/7 health care
- doctors rounds
- physical therapy recommended by a specialist doctor
- continued treatment of chronic diseases
- organization of ambulance transport
- three meals and a snack prepared using a certified HACCP system
- laundry services
- meeting the daily needs of users (hairdresser, pedicurist, religious services)
24/7 medical care
24/7 healthcare for all users includes:
- preventive and general healthcare
- control and administration of therapy
- oral therapy
- parenteral therapy
- blood pressure control
- blood sugar control
- healing of decubitus ulcers
- wound treatments and dressings
- enteral nutrition
- verification of medical certificates at the Croatian Health Insurance Fund and placing orders for orthopedic aids
- taking materials for laboratory tests
- postoperative care, etc.
Assistance in performing daily activities
At Maslina Home, we also help the elderly to maintain personal hygiene, change their position, bathe, dress, undress, feed and control and help with fluid intake.
Care and personal hygiene
Hygiene is one of the priorities of our home.
Home staff, nurses and caregivers, in addition to health care, help our customers to bathe, maintain personal hygiene whether it is shaving, maintaining oral hygiene or changing diapers and, if necessary, several times during day and night.

Physiotherapy
- Verification of medical certificates at the Croatian Health Insurance Fund and hiring a physiotherapist on the recommendation of a physiatrist

Work activities and organization of free time
We provide all types of activities aimed at the interest of users according to their age, abilities and desires (walks, board games, workshops, joint work of users, socializing, celebrations, guest appearances in the home during the holidays and important dates).
